Blueprints For Sewing
At the Franklin Mill Store
Instructor: Taylor McVay

This class will focus on Taylor's own "Blueprints for Sewing" patterns
all which can be customized to your style and shape.
Hone your sewing skills to make great looking clothing - inside and out!
This class is open to all experience levels. Beginners who have basic
sewing machine skills are welcome.

March 31, April 7th, 14 & 21 - Thursday PM - 6:30 - 8:30
4 weeks - $112
(Students receive a 15% discount on purchases while enrolled in a class.)
Materials:
One of the following "Blueprints for Sewing" patterns:
Cabin, A-Frame (both sold in the store) or Saltbox (online)
Fabric for your pattern
Your sewing supplies:
Scissors, seam ripper, sewing gauge/small ruler, pins, marking tools.

Taylor McVay is a lifelong devotee to the craft of sewing. As a sewist and pattern maker, she has worked with both established designers and fashion pioneers. She has collaborated on wearables for internationally exhibiting artists and designed custom clothing for a range of clientele. She believes that learning how to sew, especially how to make ones own clothing, is both creatively satisfying and empowering.
Her recently launched sewing pattern company, Blueprints For Sewing, features designs inspired by architecture and art.
